My journey through two decades of B2B marketing
For the past two decades, I’ve lived and breathed B2B marketing. I co-founded B2B Marketing magazine in the UK in 2004, and have been a tireless evangelist and passionate enthusiast for it ever since. As magazine editor, content producer and conference host/MC, I’ve been deeply immersed in the industry as it has evolved from a cottage industry to the global powerhouse and driver of commercial success that it is today.
More recently, I’ve stepped back from b2bmarketing.net (what B2B Marketing magazine became) and although I’m still a major shareholder and company director, I’m going back to my roots as a content creator, but using a new suite of tools to help.
B2B marketers understand how their industry is transforming, and what they need to do in order to be successful. So these days I’m a podcaster, blogger, videographer, thought leader and influencer – but I still like nothing better than meeting B2B marketers in person and learning about their challenges and experiences, and I love speaking at events. Behind the scenes, I also work in an advisory role with companies and individuals.
